Three speakers from Ohio, Missouri, and Kentucky presented at the 2006 ITS Planning Forum as part of the Smartways (Wisconsin Chapter of ITS America) conference. The ITS Forum is an annual event that assembles ITS experts from around the country, as well as local experts. The theme of the 2006 forum was "How Can ITS Help Me?" The emphasis was on both urban and local ITS practices. The speakers gave presentations on CVO/freight, ITS and Homeland Security, and co-located centers and communications (i.e. interagency agreements, funding and staffing).
